In the heart of Syracuse's historic Ortigia district, Cantine Gulino traces its roots back to the 1600s when the ancestors of the Gulino family began selling wine in a small shop among the bustling streets. In 1793, they expanded their operations by acquiring Contrada Fanusa, a significant parcel of land featuring a farmhouse and an ancient stone millstone previously owned by the esteemed architect Pompeo Picherali. Today, nestled in the coastal district of Fanusa, Cantine Gulino proudly stands as one of Sicily's oldest wineries, embodying centuries of tradition and a commitment to crafting exceptional wines.
